Jim was born in Reading PA, 2/16/35, and is widowed from Joan Mary (Billman) Reedy. He resides in Piqua Ohio. They are the parents of two sons, Michael Wayne Reedy, retired U.S. Navy Captain, now a consulting engineer with the U.S. Navy. Michael is married to Renee Marie; they have one son Joseph Michael. Jim and Joan’s second son is Mark Edward Reedy, a financial advisor for the Thrivent Financial Group. Mark is married to Gay Ellen, they have four children – Jessica Elisabeth (Reedy) Standard, a speech pathologist, Matthew Eric Reedy, a contract maintenance representative, Joshua Edward Reedy a logistic manager for a trucking company, Megan Emily (Reedy) Peliter, a junior high school math and science teacher.
